Handmade Ceramic Simorgh Necklace – Persian Mythology Pendant

A small square of stoneware carrying the Simorgh (سیمرغ) — the great mythical bird of Persian legend — drawn in soft sepia on a cream glaze and finished with three turquoise-toned stone drops on oxidised silver wire.

In the Shahnameh, the Simorgh is wise beyond memory: she raises the lost, heals the wounded, and watches over those finding their way home. Worn close, she is a quiet companion for the long road.

Hand-shaped, kiln-fired, and finished individually in my studio in Poringland, Norfolk. Hung from a delicate stainless steel silver chain.
