Handmade Ceramic Gold Lustre Dragonfly Necklace

A half-moon of stoneware glazed in warm honey and dusty teal, hand-pressed with a dragonfly that seems to have only just landed. Two handmade ceramic beads in speckled green and blue sit either side, threaded onto a soft brown waxed cotton cord — earthy, tactile, and easy to wear with linen, knits, or denim.

Hand-shaped, kiln-fired, and finished individually in my studio in Poringland, Norfolk. The reactive glaze pools differently on every piece, so the dragonfly shows through the colour in a slightly different way each time.

In many cultures, the dragonfly is a symbol of transformation, lightness, and quiet courage — a reminder that change.
