A small round of stoneware in soft turquoise crackle glaze — the colour of shallow seas and Persian tilework, with a mint cotton tassel that moves gently when you do.

Hand-shaped, kiln-fired, and finished individually in my studio in Poringland, Norfolk. The fine crackle in the glaze comes from the firing — a quiet, living detail that no two pieces ever share in the same way.

A bohemian, Mediterranean kind of piece. For the people who feel most themselves near water, in long summer afternoons, or somewhere far from home.
